A little of these every day keep the doctor away. Let me clarify: Kale is dynamite for you, if you like it. There are yummy recipes on Pinterest for salads, snacks and more. Buy organically to avoid chemicals used on crops. Loaded with powerful vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Celery, wow. Add this to salads. Juice every morning with organic celery for so many health benefits that I can’t even begin to name them (Google this, it’s true). Add a little apple and/or lemon to the juice for extra yumminess. Beets beets the magical veggie. Learn to like these. Beets are nutrient dense. High in folate, manganese, Vit A and C. Kale, celery and beets are high in fiber. Fiber adds bulk to your diet and keeps your digestive system running well. Ginger is very anti-inflammatory. Add a little ginger to your smoothies, juices, veggie dishes. Get to know this amazing root that is easily found at the grocery store. Wine haha. Now that you’ve added the above to your diet, you can also enjoy your wine in moderation (I have to say that) Red wine has Resveratrol! This heart healthy compound can help lower blood pressure, is heart healthy and is brain protective. These are good reasons to chose red over white.
