Here is a little info on the health benefits of grapes! Grapes are: *high in antioxidants, which help prevent chronic disease and help repair cell damage *packed with vitamins C and K, potassium *high in resveratrol which is known for caner prevention and treatment (colon cancer is a biggee here) *may help lower blood pressure *may help reduce cholesterol Combine the last two and grapes help protect you from heart disease! *may decrease blood sugar, as they have a low glycemic index *may increase insulin sensitivity, which make them a good choice for diabetics *grapes contain lutein and other compounds protecting you from eye disease *may improve memory, attention and mood *grapes contain minerals which aid in bone health; calcium, magnesium, Vit K and others *may be beneficial warding off certain bacteria, viruses and yeast infections More and more to add, but that should be enough to motivate you to ADD GRAPES to your healthy eating routine!
